Hearing olympians or any extraordinary athletes attribute their amazing talents to god is like…nails on a chalkboard to me. We are all born equal. You are extraordinary because YOU put in the effort and the hard work to better yourself and that’s why you are so good at what you do. If you didn’t put in the effort, you would be playing pick up basketball at the park and not playing in the nba. How about you give YOURSELF some fucking credit for once? Seriously. And if you want to thank someone besides yourself, give the credit to your parents because if they didn’t fuck, you wouldn’t be alive. It’s that simple, really.
